In short
Unhyped is free for you. We earn money when you open an account with a provider through one of our affiliate links. It doesn’t cost you anything extra. It never affects our ratings.
Affiliate links
Some links to exchanges or wallets are affiliate links. If you open an account or buy a product through one, the provider pays us a commission. That can be a fixed amount per new customer or a share of the fees the provider earns from you.
Every affiliate link is labelled “Ad” right next to it.
Our rules
- Rankings are not for sale. The order comes only from our methodology. Commissions count for 0 %.
- Providers without an affiliate programme are still listed when they fit well, just without an affiliate link.
- No paid reviews. Providers can’t buy a rating and don’t get to approve texts before publication.
- Ads never appear inside a ranking. See below.
- No money for coins. We don’t accept payment to mention or recommend individual cryptocurrencies or tokens.
- No commissions on leverage. We explain futures and margin trading but don’t promote them.
- In the EU we only link to providers with a MiCA licence.
Ads
Besides affiliate links, we have our own ad spaces in the Unhyped style. Extra rules apply to them:
- Every ad is clearly labelled “Ad” at the top.
- Ads only appear at the end of articles and on the guide overviews. Never in the comparison, the exchange finder, the calculators or exchange profiles.
- At most one ad per page, and only for partners with a MiCA licence.
- The numbers in an ad come from our own sourced data, not from the advertiser.
- Ads are served from our own server: no cookies, no tracking scripts, no Google ad network.

As of 5 October 2026: we don’t have any active partnerships yet. Once we do, we’ll list them here with a date.
Later
Once Unhyped has enough readers, we may add a paid plan with extra tools. The rules above apply in exactly the same way.
